NCRB - District Wise Crime Data: Year, State and District wise Cyber Crime Cases by Crime Head

This dataset provides year wise, state wise, and district wise statistics on cyber crime cases in India by crime head. It covers major categories of cyber offences including cyber fraud, cyber stalking and bullying, cyber pornography, cyber sexual exploitation, online banking and financial fraud, hacking and data theft, identity theft, social media related crimes, cryptocurrency related crimes, and other cyber offences, as reported under relevant laws and crime heads. The source contains various crime reporting units including City Police Units, Cyber Police Units, Districts, Police Commissionerates, Railway Police, Rural Police Units, Specialized Police Units, and Others, which have been categorised using the unit_type field. The dataset enables analysis of cyber crime patterns across districts, states, and different types of police and crime reporting units.
