NCRB - District Wise Crime Data: Year, State and District wise Crimes against SCs by Crime Head
This dataset provides year wise, state wise, and district wise statistics on crimes against Scheduled Castes (SCs) in India by crime head. It covers major offences including murder, rape, kidnapping and abduction, assault, hurt, arson, robbery, theft, rioting, criminal intimidation, insult or intimidation of SCs, offences under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, and other crimes against SCs. The dataset enables analysis of crime patterns and offences against Scheduled Castes across districts and states.
Note: For 2019, the district-wise totals do not reconcile with the corresponding state-wise totals in the published NCRB source. The discrepancy is present in the source data and has been carried through unchanged.
